Welcome to the home for organ jazz by Ken Lovern's OJT. We are a Kansas City bred, funky organ jazz group. OJT will be out at Holy-Field Winery with Vocalist Bukeka Shoals on Friday, July 11. 6:30 to 9:30. We will be Back at Holy-Field on July 18 with Vocalists DJ Sweeny and David Basse.

Vocalist Bukeka Shoals joins OJT on Sunday, July 20 for a free outdoor show on the Plaza. 2-5.

OJT plays the first Wednesday of the month at the Jayhawker Pub at the Eldridge Hotel in Lawrence, Kansas. Instrumental Organ Jazz from 7-10. No cover and good food and drinks. In July, we switch it up and play the 3rd Wednesday--July 23.

Ken will be doing a Jardine's late night gig with Brandon Draper on Drums and Jake Blanton switch hitting on guitar and bass.

OTJ + B got a nice review in a recent Pitch Mag. It is in the press section.

Ken has some new piano gigs going. Every Thursday he is at Benton's with vocalist Stephanie Laws. 6:30 to 9:30.

Ken was the "Featured Artist" in February on the Doodlin' Lounge, a web site and radio show (KUSP fm) dedicated the organ jazz and it's musical relations. I've copied the interview into the Press/Reviews section of this website.
